On Mississippi: Really? Seriously?

Pros:

1) Cost of living seems to be lower than it is here. Homes, nice ones, run for about 80 to 90 thousand.

2) Tupelo is Northeast Mississippi, which means "farther north." Tennessee might still be in the way but it's quite a few miles in the right direction.

3) It's not here.

Cons:

1) It's Mississippi.

2) It's still a Red State.

3) It's completely out of the question if it's just a lateral move. (A promotion to Manager is a different story; especially since the position has been elevated several pay grades above my current grade. STILL... it's not even a sure thing.)

4) It's Mississippi.

5) It's still a hurricane risk area.

6) Elvis Presley was born there, thus the fans are sure to be there too.

7) It's Mississippi.
