Second, Let me say that I wouldn't be a part of that march. I do not endorse their proposition to entitle illegal aliens to those benefits without going through the necessary steps to earn residency or citizenship first. Earning residency status is NOT difficult nor is it expensive. Why are they reluctant to do so? Well interestingly enough, part of earning residency involves proving that you can support yourself without the need for federal assistance. AH HAH! There's the rub... It easier to beg for rights (welfare and medicare) than to join the ranks of the empowered. And you know what? I have the same answer for any of the illegal immigrants that are trying to jump this bandwagon and asking for these rights. Regardless of your nationality, my answer is No!
